Animatic Analysis

After creating a storyboard for the 3 minutes and 25 seconds of our song the post below is the result when putting each shot together to create an animatic. Each shot in the animatic is approximately how long we are aiming for the shots to last when we film our final product.

Now that the animatic and storyboarding process is completed we have both been able to see, that several shots throughout our video may need to be clipped or split due to them lasting slightly longer than need be. We understand that several of the shots in the video are intact too long and have taken note of ways in which we will be adjusting these. Additionally, we must take into consideration that we are clipping the first 5 seconds of the song so the first clip during the animated is in fact 5 seconds longer that it would be when filmed.

Something else we have taken note of is the clips that we have chosen to repeat on several occasions. We aren't sure if these look too much yet but will test this when filming and if so, we will adapt our clips to create more variation throughout.

Overall, by putting the animatic together it has allowed us to see that our video has a combination of ideas that we are capable to film for the final.
